Somerset County Council has selected BAM PPP to undertake its £600m Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme.

BAM PPP, a consortium including RM Education and a market leading ICT provider will rebuild or remodel all secondary and special schools in the Somerset area

The first phase will be the £100m rebuilding of Bridgewater's four secondary and two special schools, and the first schools to be built will be Chilton Trinity Technology College and Robert Blake Science College alongside Elmwood School.

Julie Ridge, Somerset BSF Programme Director said: "We are delighted to have a partner of such calibre to create first class, state of the art schools for Bridgewater and help take the Somerset BSF programme forward in the future."
